Our officer proves his skills

Acting Pilot Officer Wale has been away at RAF Cranwell for a week, completing the final part of his Initial Officer Training.

PO Wale has now lost his white tapes, indicating that he was "Acting" and can now continue to develop his skills in managing the squadron.

New NCO Promotions

New NCO Promotions

Congratulations to our newly promoted Cadet Corporals

Cadet Macefield (Left) and Cadet Spencer (Right) have both worked hard, proved their worth and have fulfilled the criteria to become our newest NCO's.

Corporals Macefield and Spencer can now move on and build on their hard work and success with the help of the Squadron staff, and further opportunities afforded to them by leadership and development courses available through the Air Cadet Organisation, to mention just a few.

Well done once again to Cadet Corporal Macefield and Cadet Corporal Spencer.

ATC Sunday

ATC Sunday

On Sunday 6th February 2022 cadets & staff from the Squadron in Market Harborough attended St. Nicholas Church in Little Bowden to mark the 80th anniversary of the formation of the Air Training Corps. The service was presented by our padre, Revd Alison Iliffe and our previous padre, Revd Pip Clements.

Making and throwing paper aeroplanes during the church service (Yes this was an activity based sermon) made an interesting new focus for the cadets. I have never done this before in church!

Happy 80th Birthday Royal Air Force Air Cadets.
